Sometimes asking for help can be hard. HelpLink makes the process simple and safe.
HelpLink allows you to post a need for yourself, or on behalf of another. You may make up to two asks each month. Our verified nonprofit partners may ask on behalf of their communities with no limitations.
We'll ask for some basic information, both about the need and the recipient. We don't share this information, but we do use it in aggregate for reporting purposes to prove tangible impact in your community.
Every ask is reviewed by HelpLink staff for basic content and to price the need. After our review is complete, we'll publish the need under your profile to the community for donations.
Wondering what to ask for? Here's what we recommend.
Shirts, belts, boots, coats, snowpants, etc
Mattresses, furniture, and bedding supplies
Diapers, bottles, formula, etc
Kitchen or no kitchen, your meal's on us
Medical, utilities, rent, or other debts
Asking for money, paying credit card bills
Job seekers and employment opportunities
Doctor, dentist, or regular visits at specific times
Emergency home or car repair, last-minute transportation needs
Needs that cannot be easily translated into dollars
Whether it's for you or for someone else, HelpLink provides a platform for you to make the need known.
